THERMAL EXPANSION

A.Discovery weighbridges are immune to thermal expansion as the loadcells stay upright and self align every time.
B.Platform elongation due to thermal expansion causes errors in measurements as the loadcells shift from side to side and even bend.

SIDE FORCES

Solar 365i ball and cup loadcells with built in lightning protection surpass the competitors in terms of resistance against side forces. It is a fact that the reason behind loadcell malfunction is horizontal side force created by the vehicle during braking and sudden startups. That is why, units with column type loadcells require additional construction to absorb side forces. However these designs utilizing rocker supports, tension rods, buffers, etc need maintenance and have an adverse impact on weighing accuracy.

WEIGHBRIDGE PHOTOS

Richter Scale Weighbridge Software is available as an optional extra by keeping a complete data-base of all the vehicles that have weighed in and out. The system will generate a weighbridge ticket and or invoice which includes your company logo and a wealth of information, such as gross, tare, nett, product price, vat, total, registration no, product description, customer etc. An extensive reporting module is included.

OPTIONAL WEIGHBRIDGE SOFTWARE

A - Re-inforced concrete ramps - sides are encased in steel = chip proof

B - Optional side impact protection. A solid and highly visible guide for drivers - no slashed tyres or damage to the unit / vehicle or person. Guarantees accurate readings.

C - Removable industrial weigh deck. 8mm - 10mm options. 7 Beam design - see illustration below.

No room for error. Your deck plates will bend by off centre driving of small vehicles resulting in future replacement. Deflection can also be a problem on lighter kg / Meter 6 beam decks.

The 7th beam ensures strength and eliminates damage to deck plates. It also provides rigidity and further minimizes deflection of the deck.
